The page’s readable content converted to Markdown. Choose CommonMark or GitHub Flavored Markdown with --markdown-format, restrict extraction to part of the page with --markdown-selector, and drop the page title with --markdown-no-title. zshot writes Markdown when the output file ends in .md or with -t markdown.
Image and link URLs are always absolute — resolved against the page so the document works when shared. For a fully self-contained document, --markdown-embed-content inlines images as data: URIs built from the bytes the browser fetched.
